Health Plan Associate, Program Management (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, California; employment authorization in the United States is verified through E-Verify.

Salary: $67,000–$87,000 annually, plus a target annual bonus and potentially additional incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional healthcare projects and operational process improvements across claims, authorizations, pharmacy, provider networks, eligibility, census management, and member services.
• Maintain end-to-end work plans, project schedules, milestones, resource estimates, risks, dependencies, and operational metrics.
• Coordinate project meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners, follow up on open items, and escalate barriers to Health Plan leadership.
• Own regulatory filings, reporting submissions, and compliance deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Maintain the master regulatory calendar and proactively manage response windows, due dates, and filing deadlines.
• Lead Health Plan go-live readiness for new center openings, tracking milestones and confirming operational readiness before launch.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience with project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards.
• Specific healthcare and/or health plan experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate external systems operated by Medicare and Medicaid.
• High proficiency with Microsoft applications, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
• Ability to forecast project challenges and define solutions that protect compliance, quality, and schedules.
