TL;DR
Supplier Engineering Program Manager (Manufacturing/Medical Devices): Managing supplier capital qualifications, manufacturing equipment installations, and improvement programs for precision components used in medical devices with an accent on supplier development, quality engineering, and regulated production processes. Focus on leading programs from concept to production, authoring and overseeing IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, and coordinating engineering, quality, sourcing, manufacturing, and global suppliers.

Location: US - Massachusetts; hybrid work requires on-site attendance at an hirify.global office at least once per week. Travel approximately 10%–25% of the time.

Salary: $70,400–$105,575 annual base salary, plus potential incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod insulin management platform and other wearable drug-delivery technologies.

What you will do

  • Lead supplier capital qualification programs from kickoff through production implementation.
  • Manage programs across multiple global suppliers with support from project engineers.
  • Lead procurement and installation of manufacturing equipment at suppliers.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, Purchasing, and supplier teams.
  • Drive supplier improvement projects and support project management training across the global project engineering team.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Plastics, Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a regulated industry.
  • Experience managing supply chain projects from concept to production.
  • Ability to author and oversee IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for component manufacturing processes and secondary operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, prioritization ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to use Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project, including dependencies.

Nice to have

  • Project management experience with suppliers of custom precision components for medical devices.
  • Six Sigma or Lean experience.
