TL;DR
IT Asset Specialist (IT Asset Management): Managing the receipt, tracking, deployment, recovery, repair, licensing, and disposal of IT hardware and software assets with an accent on inventory accuracy, CMDB maintenance, procurement support, and equipment lifecycle control. Focus on coordinating equipment returns and repairs, maintaining stockrooms and rotating computer inventory, and producing recurring asset reports while supporting IT operations.
Location: Onsite in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area, United States
Salary: $24–$31 per hour

What you will do
- Receive, validate, securely store, inventory, and distribute IT equipment.
- Maintain the CMDB and asset inventory for hardware, servers, network switches, applications, and software.
- Coordinate equipment returns, repairs, replacements, RMAs, shipping, decommissioning, and disposal.
- Manage software licensing assignments and recovery, including PDF and Office 365 licenses.
- Maintain stockrooms, rotating stock of imaged computers, loaned-equipment check-in and check-out processes, and inventory levels.
- Provide backup support for IT procurement and mobile phone account administration, and produce recurring asset reports.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Secret level.
- Security+ certification required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to two years of relevant experience and/or training.
- Ability to work onsite in the Colorado Springs area and perform occasional lifting of equipment up to 25 pounds.
