Senior IT Asset Manager

Location: Based at the Bothell, Washington office; approximately 10% domestic or international travel. U.S. person status or applicable export-control authorization is required.

Salary: $114,750–$150,237 annual base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Establish and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for the full lifecycle of corporate hardware and software assets.
• Analyze technology spend, software utilization, hardware lifecycles, budgets, and vendor invoices to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage software licenses, entitlements, SaaS subscriptions, contract renewals, and vendor relationships.
• Prepare accurate, auditable asset data for internal and external audits, including SOC 2 Type II and CMMC reviews.
• Coordinate purchasing, receiving, tagging, deployment, offboarding, secure data destruction, legal holds, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Provide basic helpdesk troubleshooting, account provisioning, SaaS access management, device enrollment, and workplace technology support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT asset management, software asset management, IT procurement, or IT contract governance in multi-site corporate environments.
• Strong experience with IT vendor contracts, software renewals, vendor relations, and data-driven cost optimization.
• Experience managing confidential compliance procedures, legal holds, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise hardware, macOS, Windows, SaaS ecosystems, and cloud directories or MDM suites.
• Proficiency with ITAM, SAM, or ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Snipe-IT, Jira Service Desk, Flexera, or Freshservice.
• Ability to collaborate with Corporate Legal, Finance, InfoSec, and external software auditors.

Nice to have

• IAITAM CITAM, CHAMP, or CSAM certification.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, technology, or other regulated and high-security sectors.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, or SOC 2 frameworks.
• Experience transitioning from on-premise infrastructure to identity-driven cloud environments.
