IT Asset Management Analyst

What you will do

• Manage hardware asset lifecycle activities from request and receipt through deployment, reclamation, refresh, and disposal.
• Maintain data integrity in ServiceNow across asset, configuration item, and transfer order records.
• Produce ServiceNow reporting and analytics covering inventory accuracy, recovery and reuse, fulfillment SLAs, cost avoidance, and audit readiness.
• Support audits and compliance activities, including NYDFS, SOX, and internal controls, by preparing evidence and validating asset data.
• Apply ITAM governance policies to routine lifecycle and data remediation decisions, escalating exceptions when needed.
• Partner with IT Support, Procurement, Finance, Security, and Infrastructure on stockroom operations, reconciliation, SAM, CMDB hygiene, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience supporting IT operations, asset management, or technology service teams in an enterprise environment.
• Strong attention to detail and experience identifying data quality issues across large data sets.
• Understanding of IT asset governance, lifecycle standards, and compliance support.
• Strong reporting and data analysis skills with advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant progressive experience or equivalent expertise.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow or another enterprise service management platform experience, including report and dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with ITAM, HAM, SAM, or CMDB governance frameworks.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or regulated organization.
• Experience with process improvement, automation, policy development, or governance reporting to senior leadership.
• Relevant certifications such as CHAMP, CSAM, CITAM, ITIL, or COBIT.
