Senior Software Engineer, Web (React)

What you will do

• Build and evolve accessible, responsive, high-performance member-facing web experiences.
• Own projects end to end, from clarifying problems and shaping technical approaches to shipping iteratively and measuring outcomes.
• Contribute to frontend applications, APIs, backend services, data flows, and partner-system integrations.
• Define frontend architecture, including state management, component reuse, testing, observability, and performance practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Clinical, and engineering teams to simplify complex healthcare workflows.
• Improve developer experience, participate in technical reviews and reliability work, mentor engineers, and support AI-assisted coding practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production web applications.
• Deep frontend expertise with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework such as React.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, browser behavior, performance, accessibility, testing, and component design.
• Full-stack experience with APIs, backend services, data flows, and service integrations.
• Experience driving projects through ambiguous problem spaces and into production.
• Strong communication, product judgment, ownership, and collaboration skills.
