What you will do

• Develop backend services with Java and Spring Boot, including REST APIs and service-layer architecture.
• Build React and TypeScript frontend features for chat, SMS, and voice crisis-intervention workflows.
• Design and implement referral routing, admissions workflows, filtering, notifications, and tiered administration permissions.
• Collaborate across the stack on API contracts and take ownership of features from solution design through delivery.
• Work with multi-tenant, data-driven systems and incorporate AI-assisted tools into daily development.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in either Java/Spring Boot or React/JavaScript, plus working proficiency in the other stack.
• Experience with SQL, RESTful APIs, asynchronous client-side programming, and secure authentication and authorization patterns.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React, with TypeScript experience.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
• Knowledge of Git, Agile delivery, multi-tenant systems, and tiered permissions.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher and strong problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience.
• AWS service integration experience.
• Frontend or backend testing experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or JUnit.
• Knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility.
