What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex consulting engagements and shape engagement strategy.
• Manage and mentor project teams, ensuring high-quality execution and professional development.
• Own client relationships, identify commercial opportunities, and lead pursuit efforts.
• Structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, and synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings.
• Present recommendations to executive stakeholders and maintain trusted working relationships.
• Generate thought leadership to advance practice capabilities and support business development.

Requirements

• Fluency in Japanese (N1) and English is required.
• 4–10 years of professional experience in top-tier strategy consulting or project-based environments.
• Deep subject-matter expertise in financial services (e.g., retail/corporate banking, payments, insurance).
• Proven track record of managing large, complex projects and delivering measurable client impact.
• Exceptional analytical rigor, problem-structuring skills, and commercial acumen.
• Must be able to work from the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week.
