CNC Technician I (Bioprocessing)

Location: Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, plus eligibility for variable cash programs and, for eligible roles, equity.

What you will do

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and similar equipment to produce parts from technical drawings and specifications.
• Load materials, monitor machine performance, make basic adjustments, and perform tool changes and routine maintenance.
• Complete post-machining fabrication and finishing using routers, scrapers, and hand or power tools.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
• Follow SOPs, safety requirements, and quality standards while completing production and compliance documentation.
• Report equipment issues and process improvement opportunities, collaborating with production and engineering teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is preferred.
• 0–2+ years of CNC or manufacturing experience, or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, dimensional drawings, and job requirements.
• Experience using hand and power tools, with strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Fabrication, carpentry, or welding experience.
