CNC Machinist (First Shift) (CNC Milling and Lathe)

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC milling and CNC lathe machines for prototype parts.
• Prepare CAM files from CAD files, prints, and verbal instructions using Mastercam and related CAD/CAM tools.
• Inspect finished parts, interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances, and make quality decisions.
• Maintain job organization, material inventory, machines, shop equipment, and operator preventive maintenance.
• Identify solutions for recurring production issues and support timely delivery.
• Follow department quality, safety, housekeeping, and production procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating and setting up CNC milling or CNC lathe machines, with some programming knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of machining in a prototype manufacturing environment or related education and experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, Mastercam, and CAD/CAM.
• Ability to read blueprints, understand geometric tolerances, and use measuring instruments such as calipers and height gauges.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or foreign national with refugee or asylee status; temporary visa holders are not eligible.
