CNC Operator (Medical Devices)

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States; onsite, third shift from 10:15 p.m. to 6:45 a.m.

Salary: $25.00–$31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate and monitor manual and CNC machine tools, including vertical machining centers and turning centers.
• Interpret complex drawings and written instructions to determine machining specifications.
• Preset tools using a tool measuring machine and use precision measurement equipment.
• Monitor machining operations, identify faults or defective materials, and take corrective action.
• Maintain quality records, production reports, equipment, and work areas in accordance with safety procedures.
• Lift up to 50 pounds daily and work overtime when required with appropriate notice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficiency with calipers, comparators, micrometers, fixed gauges, and other hand measurement tools.
• Ability to interpret complicated technical drawings and organize complex technical problems.
• Knowledge of GMP, manufacturing environments, and regulatory compliance for medical devices.
• Must be authorized to work for an employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
