Vice President, Systems Engineering (Network Engineering)

What you will do

• Oversee the design and build-out of computer and data network infrastructure across perimeter-internet, perimeter-B2B, core, remote office, and cloud environments.
• Lead the creation of automated networking processes, standards, solutions, and operational tools.
• Apply infrastructure as code to automate network service provisioning and respond to infrastructure and platform issues.
• Manage network connectivity health, reliability, performance, availability, production risk, cost, and change management.
• Lead incident management and coordinate with users, application owners, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop automation, performance tuning, database queries, business continuity plans, and disaster recovery contingencies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or a related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields and 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 or 5 years of experience, depending on the degree, including four of the six specified technical skill areas.
• Experience across the full network product development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, prioritization, testing, integration, and support.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.
• Experience building Zero Trust networks, scalable B2B and perimeter-internet architectures, and multi-tenant cloud ecosystems.
• Experience leading Microsoft Entra ID, role-based access, and multi-factor authentication tenant-restriction implementations for Microsoft 365 services.
