Electrical Engineer II

What you will do

• Deploy and roll out electrical design changes for live and released products.
• Develop and improve electrical and electromechanical designs for industrial equipment and machinery.
• Maintain electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, 3D CAD models, bills of materials, and related product documentation.
• Collaborate with Change Management, Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and other stakeholders on change rollout plans.
• Support new product introduction, technical transfer, production engineering, manufacturing, and new product launches.
• Gather production and after-sales feedback and implement design improvements.

Requirements

• Technical or engineering qualification with at least 3 years of experience in electrical design for industrial equipment and machinery.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering and manufacturing principles and processes.
• Good knowledge of CE and UL standards related to electrical safety of machinery and equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of E-Plan and electrical design best practices.
• Commercial awareness, including consideration of cost impacts in engineering decisions and proposals.
• Availability to work outside normal office hours because of differing time zones, with occasional travel.
