Senior Electrical Engineer - NPI Edwards

What you will do

• Lead electrical engineering activities for new product introduction and deliver new electrical and electro-mechanical products.
• Create product designs, electrical drawings, custom controls, and test fixtures that meet safety, reliability, and manufacturing standards.
• Support CE and UL certification, EMC compliance, system verification, and safe laboratory practices.
• Prepare manuals, bills of materials, spares lists, and other documentation for product launches.
• Support engineering changes, product lifecycle management, continuous improvement, and cost and quality optimization.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, communicate project risks, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and circuit diagrams and use test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
• Knowledge of electrical device selection, EMC, safety compliance, CE and UL certifications, and system verification across hardware and software.
• Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical and Vault, plus proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Fluent English and ability to work on-site in Clevedon, UK; travel and physical tasks, including lifting up to 20 lbs, are required.
