Senior Electrical Engineer (I, II, III) (Cell Therapy Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead electrical design for complex automation equipment in compliance with IEC 61010, NFPA 70/79, and UL 508A.
• Design power and signal distribution using control panels, cables, PCBs, and commercial assemblies.
• Create schematic, interconnect, and layout drawings within a formal Product Lifecycle Management process.
• Develop functional requirements, specifications, prototypes, and test benches for characterization.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with controls, mechanical, systems, and software engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, sensors, actuators, and AC/DC power distribution.
• Experience integrating PLC platforms such as Beckhoff, Siemens, or Allen-Bradley.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, RS-232, and RS-485 physical-layer communication.
• Hands-on experience designing, troubleshooting, and testing analog and digital circuits using standard electrical test equipment.
• Ability to build prototypes, construct electrical panels, perform wiring, and route cables.

Nice to have

• Experience with Electrical CAD tools such as EPLAN, Zuken, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, OrCAD, or Altium.
• PCB assembly design experience.
• Programming experience with Python, Structured Text, Ladder Logic, C#, or C.
• Exposure to 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360.
