Software Engineer, PDP Experience

Location: Remote - United States

Salary: $164,000–$229,000 USD annually, plus potential equity and, depending on the role, commission.

What you will do

• Build new products and features for the high-traffic Comments page in collaboration with product, design, and engineering partners.
• Contribute across the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
• Review code, design documents, product specifications, and interface mockups.
• Help shape team strategy, engineering standards, developer workflows, and best practices.
• Balance rapid delivery with quality while building new products and preventing critical defects.
• Continuously improve technical and non-technical skills.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of post-internship, full-time professional software development experience in large-scale distributed systems.
• At least 3 years of development experience with a general-purpose language such as Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby.
• Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC, including designing and implementing maintainable APIs.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, scheduling, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment and explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
