Software Engineer II: Automotive Solutions

Location: Onsite in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil

What you will do

• Develop and test maintainable, object-oriented C++ applications for functional safety analysis.
• Contribute to requirements definition for safety applications and product development.
• Support software solutions aligned with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards for automotive and ADAS markets.
• Collaborate with EDA professionals in an Agile, cross-disciplinary engineering environment.
• Explore and apply modern AI technologies, including LLM-based agents, to accelerate software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of development experience in C/C++ environments.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns.
• Experience with version control and issue tracking tools such as Git, Perforce, SVN, and JIRA.
• Familiarity with CI/CD DevOps practices and cross-platform development on Windows and Linux.
• Good written and spoken English and Portuguese are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Qt framework.
• Previous experience leading a software development team.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, particularly for desktop applications.
• Familiarity with Python or TCL.
