TL;DR
Hardware Development Engineer (Automotive): Developing and supporting electronic hardware for vehicle products, from component selection and library management through schematic design, testing, certification, production, and field support with an accent on circuit debugging, product quality, and cost-performance optimization. Focus on defining hardware architectures, analyzing certification and test failures, implementing corrective actions, and supporting new product launches.
Location: Campinas or nearby areas, Brazil; on-site work required

What you will do
- Register and maintain electronic components in component libraries according to standards and best practices.
- Support new hardware products throughout specification, development, production, and field operations.
- Contribute to component-level decisions, schematic design, development processes, tools, and product updates.
- Research and recommend electronic components, architectures, and integrated circuits based on cost, performance, and technology requirements.
- Monitor product certification and testing, analyze failures, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and reduce development time.
- Support technological innovation projects, new product launches, product mix expansion, and pilot production tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Experience managing component libraries in PADS, Altium, or Xpedition.
- Experience testing and debugging electronic circuits.
- Advanced English proficiency required.
- Must reside in Campinas or nearby areas and be available for on-site work.
