What you will do

• Develop embedded bare-metal firmware that interacts with hardware and software platforms.
• Define requirements, system architecture, design, verification, and validation activities across the product development lifecycle.
• Integrate hardware across multiple systems and debug device issues and field returns using engineering analysis.
• Plan and direct complex engineering development projects, coordinating internal and external resources.
• Guide advanced technologies into final products and ensure interfaces between system components meet performance requirements.
• Evaluate new technologies through state-of-the-art reviews and proof-of-concept work, communicating results to the development organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in software design for embedded systems.
• Required knowledge of C/C++ and embedded firmware development.
• Experience with hardware platforms and interpretation of electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Ability to work in a regulated, high-reliability product development environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, aeronautical, or medical-device development.
• Experience with ARM microcontrollers and real-time operating systems.
• Familiarity with FDA submission processes, ISO requirements, and QSR requirements.
