TL;DR

Focus on transitioning legacy network operations to an integrated performance-based model, managing cost and schedule across complex task orders, and ensuring reliable 24x7 support for human spaceflight, science, exploration, and commercial missions.

Location: Hybrid in Columbia, Maryland, with 20% travel to the DC area

Salary: $220,800–$331,200 annually

What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day execution of task orders supporting safe, secure, reliable, and uninterrupted communications and navigation services.
  • Manage geographically distributed hirify.global, subcontractor, and partner teams across operations, engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, mission interface, and modernization.
  • Serve as the senior customer-facing program leader for NASA, mission users, and government stakeholders.
  • Drive the transition from legacy network operations to an integrated operating model across government-owned and commercial network assets.
  • Oversee cost, schedule, technical, staffing, financial, risk, governance, and subcontractor performance.
  • Build and retain a mission-focused workforce capable of supporting 24x7 operations, critical mission events, and evolving NASA requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 12 years of related experience.
  • At least 10 years leading program performance against schedule, cost, and requirements, plus 10 years leading teams or organizations.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers, including O&M contracts exceeding $200 million annually and commercial service vendor relationships.
  • Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI within one year.
  • Strong engineering, leadership, organizational, communication, multitasking, and problem-resolution skills.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, high-value firm-fixed-price task order environment with changing requirements.

Nice to have

  • NASA MSFC or Headquarters work and leadership experience, including experience with former SES leaders.
  • NASA contractor leadership experience and knowledge of NASA strategic directives, mission directorate initiatives, and agency-wide communications systems.
  • PMP or PgMP certification.
