Sr. Program Manager (Space)

Location: Near Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with some work required on site.

Base salary: $140,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Guide mission-critical space programs from concept through engineering, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Serve as the primary customer liaison, building relationships and aligning program goals with mission objectives.
• Create and own integrated cost, schedule, and technical baselines with the chief engineer.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, mission delivery, security, safety, contracts, finance, and supply chain.
• Manage program risks, issues, priorities, reviews, proposals, studies, and customer deliverables.
• Oversee subcontractor activities and ensure external contributions meet quality and contractual expectations.

Requirements

• Experience delivering a space vehicle through the full engineering lifecycle, from concept and design through integration, testing, and final deployment.
• Experience managing risk and cost, schedule, and technical baselines in aerospace, engineering, or software development programs.
• Strong customer relationship, team-building, conflict-resolution, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience evaluating requests for proposals or quotes and preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals or quotes.
• Eligible for a U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, graduate degree with at least 7 years, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• Master’s degree.
• Experience in national security aerospace programs and geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing multiple projects and refining program documentation templates, tools, and guidelines.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2000 policies and processes.
• Active U.S. government TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility.
