Sr Director, Programs (Nuclear Manufacturing)

Location: Remote in the United States, with 30%–50% travel to EMS sites

Salary: $225,000–$250,000 plus bonus

Provide high-performance pumps, valves, steam turbines, air compressors, motors, and generators for the U.S. Navy nuclear fleet and commercial nuclear power plants.

What you will do

• Provide strategic oversight and guidance to program management teams delivering new and upgraded products.
• Monitor programs from initiation through delivery, coordinating cross-functional activities to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Develop and implement program management strategies aligned with organizational goals and long-term sustainability.
• Build stakeholder relationships and advise leadership on program management practices, objectives, and performance metrics.
• Define and analyze KPIs, provide executive recommendations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate program risks, ensure compliance with policies and industry requirements, and optimize resource allocation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex programs with strategic, risk management, and resource optimization responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams in a collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of project management software and tools, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage complex challenges while maintaining long-term strategic objectives.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain Department of Defense security clearance.
