Sr Mgr Global Procurement - Lab Consumables (Pharma)

Location: On-site in Tarrytown, New York, United States; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $134,400–$219,200 annually

What you will do

• Define and implement the global Lab Consumables category strategy for global and regional business needs.
• Align category priorities with Procurement management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
• Drive cost savings, cash flow improvements, efficiency gains, and category performance.
• Use market intelligence, benchmarking, and supplier engagement to analyze supply market dynamics.
• Apply data analytics, automation, and visualization tools to generate insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of progressive procurement experience.
• Substantial experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical procurement is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of global category processes and supplier management.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management across multiple categories.
• Experience with sourcing and contracting tools, ERP systems, or eRFx platforms such as Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, LabViva, Zageno, Science Exchange, or Scientist.com.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Power Automate.
• Experience implementing inventory management programs and technologies such as RFID, QR codes, consignment, VMI solutions, or single-use materials.
