What you will do
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments for imaging, navigation, robotics, and neurosurgery products.
- Gather feedback from surgeons, healthcare providers, and key opinion leaders to define product requirements and positioning.
- Partner with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain throughout product development.
- Develop business plans, commercialization strategies, launch materials, sales tools, and product training programs.
- Manage forecasting, inventory planning, post-launch performance, customer adoption, and product lifecycle recommendations.
- Support portfolio planning and long-term growth for the Imaging, Navigation & Robotics portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3β6 years of experience in product management, product development, product marketing, or related commercial roles in the medical device industry.
- Experience supporting new product development or commercialization and working directly with physicians, surgeons, healthcare providers, KOLs, and clinical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15β20%, attend cadaver labs, physician training events, and surgical procedures, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice to have
- Masterβs degree or MBA.
- Experience in neurosurgery, spine, surgical technologies, navigation systems, robotics, imaging technologies, or capital medical equipment.
- Experience launching medical devices from development through commercialization.
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated medical device environments and product lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of operating room workflows, surgeon engagement, training programs, sales enablement, and marketing campaigns.
