Director, Product Manager Type 2 (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Acton, Massachusetts, with required on-site work from an hirify.global office.

Salary: $191,300–$286,925 annual base salary for U.S.-based positions, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Own the product line vision, intent, roadmap, release planning, and solution backlog.
• Shape MVP scope and make tradeoffs across product scope, risk, usability, and delivery timing.
• Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, metrics, analytics methods, and user insight programs.
• Partner with product marketing, program management, systems architecture, engineering, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams.
• Ensure products are delivered on time and within budget while preserving simplicity, usability, reliability, and HCP confidence.
• Coach and mentor product managers and guide teams toward a cohesive product vision across multiple releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field; MBA preferred.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience, including 10 years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of product management experience.
• Experience overseeing the full medical device product development lifecycle across multiple releases.
• Class II or higher medical device experience, including the ability to approve design history file elements and defend them in audits.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product development environments.
