Senior Global Upstream Product Manager (Medical Technology)

Location: United States; minimum four days per week onsite. The position title specifies Minneapolis, Minnesota, while the listed location is Lafayette, Colorado.

Salary: $133,600–$200,400 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Support upstream strategy and product planning for the Visualase franchise, including roadmap planning, product enhancements, and future growth opportunities.
• Lead voice-of-customer activities such as physician interviews, advisory boards, surveys, field feedback, and customer journey mapping.
• Translate customer and market insights into unmet needs, product requirements, value propositions, and roadmap recommendations.
• Assess market, competitive, clinical, and technology trends to guide franchise strategy and investment priorities.
• Partner with R&D and cross-functional teams on feasibility discussions, trade-offs, design inputs, and development priorities.
• Support business cases, forecasting, product prioritization, portfolio recommendations, and executive-ready communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hiring and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below Principal level.
• Ability to collaborate with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Education, downstream marketing, regional teams, field partners, and physician customers.
• For bachelor's degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Nice to have

• MBA, advanced degree, or formal training in marketing, strategy, engineering, clinical research, or healthcare innovation.
• Experience in upstream marketing, product planning, product development, innovation strategy, or portfolio strategy.
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, neurosurgery, neuromodulation, oncology, epilepsy, imaging, or capital equipment.
• Experience with voice-of-customer research, market research, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and translating needs into product requirements or business cases.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
