Senior Cloud Software Engineer, Backend (Java)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable backend services using cloud-native technologies.
• Select and use AWS, Azure, or OCI technologies to build and deploy applications.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, cloud architects, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and hardware specialists.
• Troubleshoot complex backend issues, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud backend software development.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, Service Mesh, JVM, multithreading, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or OCI; cloud databases such as MongoDB and relational databases; and distributed middleware such as message queues and configuration centers.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, message queues, and cloud security best practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps practices and serverless architectures.
• Experience with an SDN Software Controller Platform or AI Ops.
