What you will do
- Develop risk-based test strategies, plans, approaches, and summary reports for complex portfolios and major projects.
- Manage end-to-end functional, non-functional, system integration, system, operational acceptance, and user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate delivery leads, business stakeholders, systems analysts, technical SMEs, and offshore testing vendors.
- Ensure testing meets agreed time, cost, quality, standards, and policy requirements across waterfall and agile delivery methods.
- Manage test environments and data requirements, including traceability from requirements through execution.
- Lead governance meetings, progress reporting, risk management, vendor quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience managing large testing delivery programmes across multiple projects or platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, ownership, accountability, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience creating and managing high-performing testing teams and guiding resources with varied experience.
- Ability to advise business analysts, technical and business SMEs, application delivery managers, and solution designers.
- Knowledge of functional testing, integration testing, usability, verification, output accuracy, performance, load, soak, and bottleneck testing.
- Ability to drive improvements, remove delivery blockers, and meet programme milestones.
