Salary: £57,400 – £64,700

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using C#, SpecFlow, and Playwright.
• Provide technical leadership to Agile delivery teams on automation, API testing, and quality engineering.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and mitigate risks.
• Mentor and coach team members to embed a culture of quality and automation best practices.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Champion the use of AI tools to enhance test preparation and overall productivity.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester, UK.
• Strong commercial experience developing automated tests and frameworks in C#/.NET environments.
• Proven experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, or Gherkin.
• Solid understanding of API testing and execution within development pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of Agile software delivery, testing methodologies, and quality engineering principles.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
