Staff Test Engineer (V93000)

Location: Bristol — hirify.global Bristol Design Centre, Bradley Stoke, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with Monday–Thursday onsite and Friday flexible; moderate travel of 10–20% across test facilities, manufacturing sites, and customer locations.

What you will do

• Develop and implement Advantest V93000-based test strategies and architectures for significant product lines and technology platforms.
• Lead complex test program development for advanced semiconductor devices, including sophisticated test algorithms and measurement techniques.
• Implement statistical and adaptive test methods, advanced data analysis, predictive models, and test optimization initiatives.
• Drive reductions in test time, throughput improvements, yield analysis, correlation methodologies, outlier detection, and quality improvement programs.
• Set test technology roadmaps, lead innovation initiatives, and provide technical leadership on difficult test development challenges.
• Act as a subject matter expert for product and manufacturing teams, mentor test engineers, and represent test engineering in technical forums and reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive semiconductor test engineering experience.
• Experience leading test development initiatives and optimization projects.
• Advanced knowledge of semiconductor test methodologies, the Advantest V93000 platform, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Expert knowledge of semiconductor test principles, methodologies, and technologies, including device physics, parametric testing, and failure mechanisms.
• Confidence working with test equipment capabilities, languages, and programming techniques.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, design of experiments, test optimization, quality standards, reliability testing, product qualification, and test data/yield analytics.
• Strong project leadership, analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, and technical documentation skills.
