Test Manager

Location: Farnborough, United Kingdom; onsite five days per week. The role requires eligibility for UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements, applicable residency requirements, and the right to work in the United Kingdom. Some assignments may also have nationality requirements.

What you will do

• Manage IT test delivery across functional, performance, security, and other non-functional testing activities.
• Support the definition and creation of project test strategies and test deliverables for small to medium-complexity projects.
• Influence requirements, design, development, and testing approaches by challenging assumptions and improving testability.
• Drive a shift-left approach and align testing with solution architects and third-party suppliers.
• Clarify requirements, define ownership, set expectations, and verify the quality of test collateral and deliverables.
• Act as a senior testing subject-matter expert while managing delivery progress and collaborating with Test Consultants.

• Experience managing small projects within the assigned scope.
• Ability to provide direction and work independently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Close attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work across teams and involve other organizational functions in deliverables.
• Ability to interact with customers and evaluate subordinate performance.
