Machine Maintenance Technician

What you will do

• Direct and perform scheduled, emergency, and preventive maintenance for production equipment, building systems, and plant infrastructure.
• Diagnose, repair, and test malfunctioning machinery, including CNC machines, mill-turn centers, metal-cutting equipment, surface-finishing machines, and air compressors.
• Replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and connect and terminate machine power as needed.
• Coordinate with production personnel, vendors, contractors, and the Operations Manager to resolve issues and complete projects.
• Perform inspections, lockout/tagout procedures, audits, equipment improvements, and maintenance documentation.
• Manage spare-parts inventories, place orders, solicit vendor bids, and update equipment drawings.

Requirements

• 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial equipment environment.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machines, mill-turn centers, metal-cutting technology, modern machine tools, and surface-finishing machines.
• Familiarity with Fanuc- and Mitsubishi-controlled machinery.
• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical work including climbing, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
