People Operations Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid (New York, Tempe, or San Francisco), requiring 3 days per week in the office.

Salary: $220,000 – $240,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Build and scale the People function, ensuring it is AI-native from day one.
• Design and operate core HR programs including onboarding, performance cycles, and compensation leveling.
• Develop data-driven dashboards to provide leadership with insights into team health and performance.
• Create scalable, automated processes and written runbooks to ensure programs can be maintained by others.
• Partner closely with the Chief People Officer to maintain company culture during rapid growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience building HR or operational programs from scratch.
• Ability to think like a product builder, focusing on iteration, measurement, and automation.
• Comfortable operating programs hands-on during the initial stages of development.
• Experience shipping internal tools, dashboards, or automations.
• Strong judgment in compensation and leveling design using market data.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in New York, Tempe, or San Francisco.
