Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; hybrid arrangement with some telecommuting based on mission requirements. Some travel, up to 20%, is required. U.S. Person status and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance are required.
Salary: $182,000–$242,000–$266,200 annually for the Washington, DC metropolitan area, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do
- Develop, drive, and manage legislative and executive branch outreach strategies and activities.
- Build relationships with government decision-makers and influencers to communicate products, services, and technologies.
- Monitor, analyze, and influence federal, state, and local policy and regulatory trends affecting the aerospace and defense industry.
- Support government engagement focused on the Department of War, the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Homeland Security.
- Coordinate communications and messaging with business development, sales, communications, marketing, and industry leads.
- Represent in industry groups and associations and prepare correspondence, white papers, presentations, and other communications.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of Capitol Hill and/or related experience.
- Strong knowledge of legislative and executive branch processes, the U.S. Government budget cycle, and agency cultures.
- Substantial knowledge of the Department of War and/or related agencies, the Intelligence Community, and/or the Department of Homeland Security.
- Polished writing, interpersonal, etiquette, and protocol skills for working with corporate executives and senior government officials.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Political Science or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance are required.
