What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and solutions across testing, operational workflows, and business processes.
• Lead automation development across the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, support, and optimization.
• Build automation for UI, API, integrations, regression, data validation, and business process workflow automation.
• Evaluate and implement modern automation tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Partner with business stakeholders, QA, developers, and operations to identify automation opportunities and drive technical direction.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and help establish scalable automation practices across multiple applications and domains.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid in Springfield, IL or Plano, TX
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development and automation engineering.
• 3+ years working with complex systems, architectures, or application structures.
• Strong development skills in one or more of: C#, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, version control, system integration patterns, and automation for UI/API/process workflows.
