Energy Technician I

Location: Field-based around Scotrun, Pennsylvania, with daily reporting to the warehouse location

Salary: $16.50–$24.00 per hour; target compensation $21.00 per hour

What you will do

• Install energy-saving measures, including attic insulation, caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats, and electric water heaters.
• Perform minor repairs to windows and doors.
• Load and unload work trucks and help set up and tear down job sites.
• Keep job sites organized and safe.
• Work with team members while learning residential energy-efficiency installation practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma and/or GED.
• Ability to work in extreme hot and cold weather.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and ladders up to three stories.
• Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration support.
