TL;DR

Location: On-site in Brooklyn, New York, United States

Salary: $165,000 – $200,000

What you will do

  • Lead complex environmental investigation and remediation projects, including NYSDEC Brownfield Cleanup and NYC E-Designation assignments.
  • Provide senior technical direction on remedial strategies, vapor intrusion mitigation, soil management, and groundwater remediation.
  • Manage full project lifecycles from proposal through design, implementation, construction, and closure.
  • Expand and maintain client relationships across private development, public-sector, and industrial markets.
  • Mentor junior engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists to promote technical excellence.
  • Prepare and review critical technical deliverables, including work plans, remedial designs, and regulatory submittals.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
  • New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Approximately 15+ years of professional environmental consulting experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise with NYSDEC Brownfield Cleanup Program and Phase II ESAs.
  • Valid NYS or NJ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to visit and oversee work at active construction and remediation sites.

Nice to have

  • M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Superfund/CERCLA sites and complex urban redevelopment.
  • Proven "seller-doer" experience in client development and revenue generation.
  • Expertise in in-situ remediation, thermal remediation, and PFAS treatment.
