Senior Environmental Consultant

Salary: Starting at $140,000 per year; final compensation depends on qualifications and licensing status.

What you will do

• Manage environmental site assessment and remediation projects involving multidisciplinary technical teams across New Hampshire, the Northeast, and beyond.
• Develop project strategies, scopes of work, risk evaluations, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development, proposals, and cross-selling efforts.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, municipal officials, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare, provide technical input for, and review environmental reports while maintaining project quality standards.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership to aspiring project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 15–20+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, conceptual model development, and transactional due diligence support.
• Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer licensure in New Hampshire, or willingness to obtain it within six months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of NHDES Administrative Rules and state and federal environmental regulatory frameworks in the Northeast.
• Proven business development, leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and judgment skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
