Location: Remote-GA; Atlanta, Georgia office. The role supports projects in Georgia and throughout the southeastern U.S. and may require occasional overnight or weekend travel to remote field sites.

What you will do

  • Support energy-sector projects involving routing and siting across Georgia and the southeastern U.S.
  • Prepare and manage NEPA environmental documents, permit applications, and compliance documentation.
  • Lead projects involving listed-species surveys, permitting, relocations, and wetland and stream determinations.
  • Coordinate research, field data collection, GIS activities, and technical report preparation.
  • Participate in client and regulatory-agency meetings and coordinate project staffing, workload distribution, and quality control.
  • Support proposals, marketing, project scoping, budgets, and strategic growth of ecological projects in the Southeast.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Wetland Scientist certification.
  • Strong project management experience and utility-sector experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in uneven terrain, varying weather conditions, wildlife, and noise, including occasional travel to remote field sites.
