Carded Radiographers - Level II RT Level I RT and RT Assistant (Industrial Radiography)

Location: Santa Fe Springs, California, United States; candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the United States. The role requires access to ITAR-controlled information and is limited to U.S. Persons.

Salary: $25.00–$34.00 per hour, based on assistant, Level I, or Level II qualifications.

What you will do

• Perform gamma radiography and radiographic testing examinations in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Set up and operate NDT equipment for radiographic inspections, including DR and CR imaging and processing.
• Prepare components and equipment for inspection and support projects alongside certified technicians.
• Determine work scope and priorities with department managers, clients, and other personnel.
• Prepare written instructions, document training, and organize and report examination results.
• Follow ATS and client safety programs while working independently and supporting team members.

Requirements

• Gamma radiography experience is required.
• IRRSP certification and/or a state radiographer card is required; State or IRRSP credentials are required for RT Level I Assistant and RT Level II Technician roles.
• Completion of a 40-hour radiation safety course and a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Level I and II candidates must document applicable NDT education, training, and experience; RT Assistants need math, print-reading, computer, and data-entry skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record are required. Candidates must pass a drug screen.
• U.S. Persons only: applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees because of ITAR export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• Documented NDT classroom training or on-the-job training for RT Assistants.
• Additional NDT certifications.
