Engineering Manager - Advanced Ground Solutions

Location: On-site, hybrid/flex, or remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary: USD $156,444–$173,555 per year

What you will do

• Direct, coordinate, and complete engineering efforts across the Advanced Ground Solutions business segment and geographically diverse sites.
• Lead people activities including hiring, performance management, headcount planning, training, development, and recognition.
• Define technology, tooling, process, technical, and teaming strategies for the assigned domain.
• Manage project risks, schedules, budgets, status reporting, and corrective actions with project managers, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive engineering process improvements, compliance, risk mitigation, and implementation of new methods and tools.
• Support proposals, financial forecasting, resource acquisition, and technical problem resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of relevant supervisory experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access classified information and perform work within the facilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, creative thinking, multitasking, and complex-task execution skills.
• Experience with project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, and Cost Account Management.
• Experience recruiting, managing, developing, and retaining engineering personnel.
• Ability to manage technical domains, integrate complex activities, and communicate issues, impacts, and corrective actions.

Nice to have

• Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of hire.
