Manager, Engineering

Location: Remote, USA

Annual base salary: $161,000–$221,500, with potential discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead a small engineering team in designing, developing, and deploying core product functionality.
• Manage, scale, mentor, and develop engineers while fostering collaboration.
• Guide modern engineering practices, architecture decisions, and long-term platform evolution.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Clinical, and behavioral health specialists.
• Deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software for health plans, health systems, children, teens, and families.

Requirements

• 7+ years of overall experience, including 2+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications.
• Strong technical leadership, project management, communication, and execution skills.
• Ability to maintain high software quality and security standards.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies, particularly agentic development and LLMs.
• Experience applying AI to healthcare, personalization, or workflow automation.
• Prior startup experience.
