Principal Product Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote US

Salary: $166,000–$260,000 base salary annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Identify high-leverage product and business questions, build analytical frameworks, and deliver recommendations that influence product and leadership decisions.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer behavior, conversion, retention, and growth opportunities.
• Own experiment strategy across product areas, including design, guardrails, interpretation, and cross-experiment analysis.
• Validate, improve, and help train AI-generated analyses produced from data and configuration inputs.
• Connect insights across product areas, experiments, and data sources to identify opportunities and inform strategic bets.
• Set standards for analytical rigor and effective collaboration between AI systems and human judgment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product analytics experience in consumer-facing, high-growth environments.
• Deep expertise in experiment design, causal inference, and power analysis.
• Daily experience using AI tools and the ability to identify their strengths, hallucinations, and limitations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting recommendations to executives and collaborating with data engineers.
• Strong SQL foundations and ability to reason through data logic, validate AI-generated output, and debug analytical issues.
• Experience with modern analytics tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Amplitude, Hex, and Mode.
