CNC Model Maker, 2nd Shift (Medical Devices)

Location: Audubon, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, 2nd shift from 2:00–10:00 PM, Monday–Friday

What you will do

• Fabricate models, prototypes, test parts, and low-volume instruments and implants using CNC and manual mills, lathes, and EDM equipment.
• Support product development from concept and design through prototyping, testing, design verification, validation, manufacturing, and product introduction.
• Participate in design meetings and brainstorming sessions, providing input to improve product designs.
• Calibrate measurement equipment and machines in accordance with the quality system.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, servicing, cleaning, and upkeep.
• Assist with manufacturing process and tooling development while following applicable compliance requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in machining, tool and die making, or model making; medical device experience is preferred.
• Experience with CNC and manual mills, lathes, and EDM machines.
• High school diploma required.
• Demonstrated creativity in design and ability to improve existing designs.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Mastercam or related CAM experience.
