What you will do

• Machine titanium components produced through additive manufacturing into finished medical device parts.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software for complex geometries and tight tolerances.
• Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes for prototype and short-run production.
• Perform milling, drilling, tapping, surface finishing, and other precision machining operations.
• Collaborate with R&D and design engineers on prototypes and design-for-manufacturing improvements.
• Develop custom workholding and fixturing, inspect parts, and maintain regulated manufacturing documentation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of CNC machining experience in a prototype or R&D environment.
• Strong experience machining titanium and other difficult-to-machine materials.
• Experience programming 5-axis or mill-turn CNC machines with CAM software such as Mastercam or NX.
• At least 3 years of experience operating DMG Mori machines with Celos controls.
• Proficiency in CNC setup, tool selection, process optimization, and titanium cutting strategies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models, and use precision inspection tools.
• Must already have full-time authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing, machining, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Experience machining additively manufactured components using SLS, DMLS, EBM, or similar processes.
• Familiarity with post-processing additive-manufactured titanium parts.
• Documentation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in regulated manufacturing environments.
