Fabrication Associate I (Plastic Fabrication)

Location: Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, United States; on-site manufacturing environment

Salary: $20.80–$29.90 per hour, plus eligibility for variable cash programs and equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, dimensional drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and client concepts.
• Perform plastic welding, woodworking, and other fabrication techniques to build custom assemblies and equipment.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, band saws, drill presses, pipe benders, and related shop equipment.
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure product conformance.
• Inspect completed work, escalate quality concerns, and support problem resolution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, inspection-ready workspace and contribute process improvement ideas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and job orders.
• Experience using hand and power tools, including band saws and drill presses.
• Ability to follow work instructions, SOPs, manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and GMP requirements.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Finished carpentry, welding, plastics fabrication, or related technical experience.
• Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and familiarity with GMP practices.
