ML/AI Junior Compiler Engineer (Embedded AI)

What you will do

• Design and implement AI/ML compiler technologies for embedded hardware.
• Optimize machine learning models for high-performance inference across semiconductor platforms.
• Develop compiler features for ARM- and RISC-V-based CPU cores using proprietary and open-source technologies.
• Contribute to compiler architecture, development, and deployment with architecture teams and internal tool users.
• Collaborate with a worldwide virtual development team on platform-specific compiler features.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with exposure to machine learning, Edge AI, and embedded systems.
• At least 1 year of professional experience with compiler technologies such as LLVM/MLIR, LLVM IR, Clang, optimization pipelines, code generation, or linkers.
• Programming experience in C++ and Python.
• Experience with ML frameworks and software stacks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, MLIR, XLA, TVM, or TensorRT.
• Knowledge of embedded systems programming and graph-level optimizations including fusion, tiling, and scheduling.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with remote teams in a worldwide virtual environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of graph compiler pass optimization and lowering PyTorch or TensorFlow models into efficient intermediate representations.
• Experience contributing to the open-source community.
