Junior Embedded Software Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid working model. Up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area. A relocation package is available for candidates coming from another country.

What you will do

• Design and implement embedded flight applications.
• Contribute throughout the software engineering lifecycle, from requirements definition and analysis through design and implementation.
• Perform software validation and verification for aircraft, launchers, and satellite projects.
• Develop and work with integrated flight hardware/software, simulation environments, algorithms, and telemetry systems.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary and multinational team.

Requirements

• Degree or background in aerospace, telecommunications, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C or C++.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems and embedded software development.
• Ability to work across software engineering activities from requirements to verification.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with the described software engineering tasks.
• Experience applying European Space Agency ECSS standards.
• Knowledge of modelling and software or tools based on SVF models and components.
