Production Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the complete operational process to optimize manpower, materials, equipment utilization, production schedules, cost, quality, and safety.
• Create and drive safety initiatives while building associate engagement, accountability, and open communication.
• Manage production, customer service, defect, waste, work-order attainment, and other operational KPIs.
• Select, mentor, and coach cell coordinators and associates while developing team ownership and operator-led decision-making.
• Coordinate 6S, Lean-Sigma, data-driven improvement, and Kaizen activities across the manufacturing operation.
• Manage cross-functional relationships and execute the operational team’s financial plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, practical science, business, or organizational management preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage complex tasks under pressure, motivate associates, and deliver operational results.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with SAP.
