TL;DR
AI Data Project Manager (AI Data Services): Planning and operationally designing customer projects involving data collection, annotation, transcription, translation, and AI evaluation with an accent on project scoping, costing, staffing, and delivery feasibility. Focus on translating ambiguous customer requirements into executable plans, building cost and capacity models, coordinating suppliers and stakeholders, and managing presales-to-delivery handoffs.
Location: Remote, US or Canada

What you will do
- Translate customer requirements into executable project scopes, plans, methodologies, timelines, milestones, assumptions, and risk frameworks.
- Build cost, pricing, staffing, capacity, and resource models based on geography, supplier rates, quality requirements, complexity, and delivery constraints.
- Define operational approaches for data collection, image and video annotation, audio and speech data, transcription, translation, LLM evaluation, validation, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Support Sales with customer discovery, proposals, Statements of Work, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Coordinate Sales, Operations, Supplier Management, Finance, customers, suppliers, and project teams through solution definition and delivery handoff.
- Identify ambiguities, dependencies, and operational risks, drive resolution, and ensure proposed commitments are feasible.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in project management, program management, operations, solutions, or consulting within AI data services.
- Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, teams, suppliers, or external partners.
- Strong project planning, requirements gathering, resource planning, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with budgets, costing, pricing, staffing, or capacity planning.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously and translate ambiguous requirements into structured project plans.
- Ability to work remotely from the US or Canada.
Nice to have
- Experience with data annotation, data labeling, data collection, LLM or AI model evaluation, speech or language data, transcription, translation, crowdsourcing, content moderation, or data operations.
- Experience at an AI data, localization, crowdsourcing, BPO, or technology-enabled data services company.
